Big Congratulations go to Queen Eleanor’s School for winning the first GST eco prize on biodiversity!  The judging panel were impressed by the whole school consideration of biodiversity as well as the specific plans for a pond, wild flower and rewilded area.  The winners won £2000 towards the project and the pupils who presented each got a Green Planet Book.  Mrs Claire Bevan was commended for all her work throughout the school in embedding eco-issues throughout the curriculum.

The Good Shepherd Trust recognises its responsibility to engender sustainable practice that encourages all members of its community including pupils, staff and carers,  to work towards carbon neutrality and limiting our negative impact on climate change.  The Trust has a Carbon Charter that states it is committed to taking effective steps towards a carbon-lighter future.
